Iron Hill Baptist Church is an independent, conservative Baptist church founded in 1900. We have been ministering to the Acworth community for over 120 years. Although we are an old church, we are a growing church reaching our community through a bus
ministry and visitation program. We are a warm, friendly, family church with programs for every age. We extend to you a most cordial invitation to worship wish us as often as possible. James Bible. Our one purpose is to effectively carry out our Lord's commission to "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you;..." (Matthew 28:19-20) It is our desire to carry our this commission in the spirit and attitude of the first commandment, Jesus said unto him, "Thou shalt love the Lord the God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets" (Matthew 22:37-40)
